Amedeo Altomare

Born in Naples (Italy) in 1953, my family moved soon to Rome. Since I was a teen I practiced spearfishing, and soon I had my Scuba Diving licence, in late 70's. In 1982 I became an Anis instructor and started to shoot underwater with an Ikelite 110, then with Nikonos and started to run in photographic contests with good placements. Then I left the instructor's work and started to travel and shoot for my own pleasure, together with my soulmate Concetta and my daughter Claudia. In 1985 and 1987 I was in Sinai, a...

Davide Lopresti

I currently live in Portovenere, a small town in Linguria, Italy overlooking the sea. I am a ship designer for a major Italian company. In 2007 I obtained my first PADI brevet, and in 2009 I started underwater photography using a compact camera. In March 2010 I bought my first DSLR camera.

Most of my diving is done in the Mediterranean Sea considering my close proximity, though I try to take at least one trip a year. Since the purchase of my DSLR I have only been able to visit the Philippines, Tulamben and Komodo with Arenui, but I am planning two trips...

Jerome Kim

Born and raised in Korea, Jerome Kim has been based in the Philippines for the last 12 years. One of the reasons why he moved here was for the diving. He considers Anilao as his favorite dive spot in the whole Coral Triangle because of the great macro opportunities. Coincidentally it was also in Anilao where he got his first taste of diving. In the early 1990’s his parents had business in the country and he became the de facto tour guide for their visitors and business partners. One group asked him to bring them to Anilao and he tried out diving with them...
