I live and work in Sydney. I started my underwater photography in 2004 and I bought my first Canon Compact camera after I finished my Advance Certificate. Since then I hardly dive without my camera.
In October 2011 I created the UWMP group to share my knowledge with the members. Since then I have learnt from members and also helped members learn tips and tricks of underwater photography so we can all improve our skills faster. We can see the results on the group with more beautiful photos and not just green and blue photos anymore.
My favourite macro critter is the Nudibranch, they have many colours and details and I am always very happy every time I see a new species that I haven’t seen before.
My favourite macro destination is Anilao, Philippines. This place is macro heaven, rich and rare critters and lots of different nudibranchs.

I started diving in The Maldives, in 2006 and I have been diving in The Netherlands, Egypt, Oman, Indonesia and The Philippines since then. I’m a UW photographer since 2010 and I use a Canon G12 compact camera in a Canon UW housing.
I love all those unbelievably varied and colorful critters we can find under water and I love to capture all the little details of those stunning creatures. That’s why I prefer Macro Photography. Although I like all critters, my most favorite would be nudibranches, because of their astonishing variety in species. My favorite Macro Destination are The Philippines.

I'm an accountant, living in the middle of the USA. I got SCUBA certified in 2006, continued with Advanced and then Rescue certifications in 2009. I purchased an underwater camera in 2010, because I could not find words to describe the underwater world to friends. With a camera in hand I started diving slower, and began to see more - and smaller - sea creatures.
I became fascinated with the tiny macro critters because of the challenge they are to photograph well. I love to photograph tiny octopus, because of their funny behavior. My favorite macro destination is the Philippines, because of the critters and it's fairly easy to get to.

To Say I love diving and underwater photography would be an understatement. What started out as a try dive on the Great Barrier Reef has led me to dive in the most beautiful of destinations such as The Red Sea, Thailand, Sipidan, Raja Ampat, Komodo, Sulawesi, Ningaloo Reef & my favourite Tulamben in Bali.
I am a member of the West Australian Underwater Photography Society in Perth where I have met many wonderful friends and we usually get out at least once a week for a dive to practice the passionate interest we all share.
My favourite macro subject would be that I don’t have a favourite, there are so many and I love them all however I am quite partial to Frogfish.
I am very proud to be a part of the Underwater Macro Photographers Group and hope we can continue to appreciate, enjoy and learn from each other’s amazing photos.

I grew up in UK & scuba diving was something I always wanted to do but only saw on TV. I now live in Western Australia and I finally learnt to dive in 2004. A couple of years later went to a talk by Glen Cowans (a local West Australian Underwater Photographer) and knew instantly that this was what I wanted to do. I love Macro and abstract and all the colours and patterns I see whilst diving. I started with an Olympus point and shoot but realised quickly that I needed more control. I now use an Olympus Pen EPL 3.
I joined my local Underwater Photography Club about 5 years ago and have met some amazing friends and photographers through this and between them and UWMP my passion has become an obsession and now find I live, breath and sleep Underwater Photography.
My favourite destination is Indonesia and have dived in New Zealand, Sipadan, Thailand, Komodo, Sangeang, North Sulawesi and try to get to Tulamben area of Bali as often as I can.

I started out taking underwater photos on a compact camera in 2003, getting more serious by 2006, when I upgraded to DSLR. After working as a dive instructor in Thailand and then spending a season on a live-aboard in Borneo, I worked as the Photo Pro at Atlantis Dive Resorts in the Philippines, spending nearly 4-years diving and shooting at the macro hot-spots of Puerto Galera and Dauin.
I have written articles on underwater photography techniques for DivePhotoGuide and UWP Magazine and had my images published in the dive media. I am now based in Thailand, operating Dive4Photos, providing underwater photography training and running photo trips and workshops throughout Asia.
